Remember when I used a Pen?

My tongue always
Speaks too soon.
My mind finds the words
And my hand immortalizes.
My thoughts and feelings:
They weave in and out and in…
Searching for their resting place.
But they don't rest.
They never rest.
The words don't always say what I mean
My meaning?
This world is still an unknown
My exploration
My adventure
Is just beginning.

And Now....A Haiku.

Means the world to me.
Most important; can't be touched.
Words are like poison.

Are you my twin poet-sister? I don't know if any of the others girls in our family do it like we do, so prolifically. Actually, I've been in a years-long slump until just recently. Blogging got me writing again, and then I found Poetry Thursday, which has been rocking my world.

I love that you came and checked out my blog, leaving a comment on a poem. And I'm sorry if it made you miss me. I just read all your posts, and I miss you, too, babe! Just remember that any time you miss me, we can touch base this way--and it's FREE! I may taper off a little when the baby comes, but this will most likely be my one outlet for creative thought for some time, so... keep writing, and so will I. LOVE YOU.

I have much of my writing on my computer and in notebooks...okay, I won't lie, i write on scraps of paper i find and then tuck them in this big box and now i'm trying to put them on a hard disk so they don't get lost...
so here they are.

I date all of them, so i may post more, but they will be under the dates written, so you might just have to search for them...hehehe...
do you like treasure hunts?

I shall investigate poetry thursday.

You sound a lot like me. Paper bags, napkins, you name it. Get the thought down when it strikes, or you just might lose it! Oh, and did you see my response to your post on my blog? I will be at your graduation. See you then! XXOO
